Reviews:

* If you crave a full-size luxury sedan that's conservative on the outside but sophisticated within, the A8 is the subdued standout in this segment. For buyers who don't already appreciate the benefits of a diesel engine over a gasoline one, the A8 L TDI is an awesome introduction. Source: KBB.com
* Luxurious and handsome cabin; cutting-edge technology features; powerful base V6; fuel-efficient diesel engine; sharp handling for a flagship sedan; standard all-wheel drive. Source: Edmunds
* One trim, two engines (six or eight cylinder). The choices are simple with the 2015 Audi A8, but the car itself is not. New LED headlamp design and powerful creases in the hood as well as newly designed grille, bumper, and splitter combine to give the A8 model line fascia a wide stance and dynamic presence. Every detail you see within the A8 was meticulously engineered as an opportunity to enhance the driving experience. The standard sunroof with optional solar power integration, power rear sunshade and ambient lighting are just a few things that make the A8 a cut above the rest. The A8 model's extensive range of seat versions (18-way heated, power seats for driver and front passenger with safety belt reminders), its variety of premium leather seating surfaces all with comfort headrests, and other options provide different ways for different drivers to find an elevated sense of comfort and luxury. Audi TFSI direct injection technology enables the 3.0T or 4.0T engine to be powerful and responsive. Legendary Audi quattro AWD shifts power towards the axle with more traction at practically any time, helping provide greater handling precision. Audi connect offers Google Earth imagery and Wi-Fi connectivity for up to eight devices. This sleek sedan also boasts 14 speakers in a BOSE surround sound system with noise compensation and an in-dash DVD player. Beyond luxury and comfort, the Audi A8 is extremely safe with multiple airbags, occupant detection for those airbags, lower anchors and tethers for car seats, tire pressure monitoring and anti-theft device with immobilizer. I took deliver of my 2011 A8L four months ago. After driving a BMW750 Li, Benz SL550, I chose the Audi. The car is a value when you compare it to the aforementioned vehicles. This car is beautiful and the interior is elegant. Not many on the road, so you get a lot of people taking a second look at it. Many gadgets to play with on this car. No problem with this car so far and I don't expect many as AUDI stands behind their product. IPhone sync's well with the Bluetooth.

I have just bought my Audi A8L! The car is just phenomenal and super luxurious! It has all the features, technology, and design that screams luxury! Bird-eye-view camera with all possible angles of the car from any corner. 22 way seat adjustments with massage capability. A cabin that soothes your every sense making you feel in ecstatic state of mind with led lighting the entire car at night and with selection of three different color variations. The craftsmanship of the interior would be more than enough to buy the car but Audi didn't stop there-they introduced an exterior design with perhaps the best looking face a luxury sedan to date. Everywhere I take this car, it always gets noticed and people take there last chance to see it before it disappears. The car has a built in Wifi that can connect up to eight devices and especially a great feature for long drives with friends! Ventilated and heat seats are great as well! In short, it is the luxury sedan made for the person who knows what true luxury is! For people who have considered other luxury brands for their super luxury sedan, give Audi a chance and you will know what I'm talking about. This car is youthful, elegant, sophisticated, and most of all, the pinnacle of what a luxury car is all about! Experience it and be prepared to be dazzled!!!

The A8 looks and feels like a great car, but it has flaws unbecoming of a 95k Auto. I purchased the V8 with 20 inch wheels. I complained to the dealer and Audi of a noisy vibration on perfectly smooth roads. They didnt help at all. I went to change the type of all season tire. There is only one tire made to fit the wheels! I wound up buying 19 inch wheels and new tires and now the 95k car is a 99k car and quiet as it should be. I learned later of an acquaintance who complained so bitterly, saying that he didnt buy a truck, that the dealer did the same for free! So much for being diplomatic with Audi. Next: the electronic interface suffers from delays. When first placing the car in reverse, it takes 4 seconds for the rear camera view to show up. Periodically the system does not respond at all for 15-20 seconds, reporting Initializing systems. As an electrical engineer I think Audi saved perhaps 5 or 10 bucks by utilizing a cheaper, slower microprocessor. The software design also maximizes the amount of clicks required to do most tasks. When dialing a phone number, there are significant delays with each letter, whether dialed in or traced on the track pad. Other similar silliness abounds. Really? That kind of software in 2017? If those issues dont bother you then buy the car, but I find it annoying that the flagship of the company isnt fully baked.
