Consumer Reports Has Taken a Shine to the 2018 Audi Q5

In one of our recent blogs, we discussed the evolved luxury and technology of the 2018 Audi Q5. As if reading our minds, Consumer Reports has also chimed in, lauding this new SUV for some of the very same qualities. Now that the Q5 is available, their vote of confidence might be the swing vote in favor of this upscale, sporting crossover.

The Q5 comes in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims, with a turbocharged inline-four with 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, and a Quattro all-wheel drive system with ultra technology that enables 23 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. Standard on all models is Audi’s MMI, and pre sense basic and city packages, with driver assistance available from the Premium Plus on up. When it comes to practicality and luxury, the Q5 offers a prime blend. The cabin is quiet and appointed in leather, and the ride is smooth with enough bite to give it a sporting flair. Audi has also added Virtual Cockpit to the options sheet alongside a Bang & Olufsen sound system that’s a must-sample for any audiophile.

With Drive Select toggling for different driving modes, 60 cu-ft of cargo room, and a hands-free tailgate, there’s plenty more to explore with the latest Q5. To sample it, contact us at our Audi dealership in Livermore, CA.
